a HUGE congrats...

to my gorgeous cousin toni, class of 2015! way to go! and what better way to celebrate than with a senior session on the beach?!? the weather was almost as perfect as her hair and makeup; seriously. it's as if she had her own team of stylists. mom may have helped with the hair, but the makeup is something that toni really enjoys and it shows. so here's to you; i am so proud of all that you have accomplished and i hope you continue to do what makes you happy! oxo

i found some super heroes....

who just happen to be an awesome family that just welcomed their newest addition. when my friend, academy partner and former co-worker contacted me to schedule a session less than a week from her due date, i was shocked. she looks incredible and was rocking that belly and the glow that came along with it. it's amazing how sometimes time can pass, life gets crazy and then a new baby brings everything back into perspective. i am truly thankful. nikki is just an incredible person. she is dedicated, honest and hard working. so the super hero outfits were more than appropriate. and dad was such a good sport, i didn't have to ask him to smile one time, he had a smile from ear to ear. he seemed so thrilled and anxious to welcome his second son.
and to say that BIG brother jayden is excited is an understatement. he is very much aware of who is inside that gorgeous belly, and can't wait to play with his new brother.
and the outfits were awesome, jayden even wore a cape. the irony is that mom and dad are both super heroes in everyday life. they handle their challenging careers with poise and grace. for all that you do, you ROCK! it take a strong person to do what you do, brennen & jayden have amazing role models!
so here is to your growing family, i cannot wait to meet brennen! oxo

i guess time really does fly...

it was almost 4 years ago that i first had the chance to work with this duo. brittney and matt were one of my first sessions after i started amanda pearl photography. we had a sweet engagement session in downtown leonardtown. and now, they look just as young as ever and have grown by two feet! norah is the icing on the cake when it comes to this perfect pair. we had a fun session at greenwell. the weather was perfect for mom to run sprints across the grass in an attempt to get norah to smile.(((who needs a gym anyways?!?))) norah loves to be held and was quite content in her momma's arms. she shared her adorable dimples, smiles and facial expressions that i couldn't help but fall in love with. she has complete control over her eyebrows, and was not afraid to use them.
congrats to you both, you guys rock parenthood. and the love that you have for this lil' blessing is just incredible!

and p.s. baby knees, ruffle britches, high heels and pearls.... oh sweetness!

3 generations...

of greatness. so michele had booked a beach session for her daughter. hannah is a couple posts back. she loved them so much she asked to do a generation session. so i already knew that hannah and her momma were awesome. and grandma, well she is just incredible! and although she has proudly earned the title of grandma, she clearly could be mistaken for a sibling.
and along with the beauty that radiates from them, they have such beautiful souls. i enjoyed just talking with them. they are hilarious and just good, fun loving people. it was one of those days where i could have just stayed on the island all day and really chatted up a storm.
and to dear sweet lil' hannah, i hope you never loose the joy you find in simple things. i was getting ready to take a shot, and hanna says, "Ummmm excuse me, do you see this, see this right now? Can you get a picture of this? My grandfather loves ducks." why yes i can darlin'. oxxo
