we're expecting...

to have just as much fun with baby number two as we have with lilly! so excited for this amazing family to be blessed with another lil' one. i would have shared the wonderful news in her valentine post, but mom needed to reveal the good news to family and friends first! from the looks of it, lilly is equally as excited!

this gal has my heart! i know i've said it before, but how lucky am i to be able to watch these amazing little beauties grow? i first met lilly 6 months ago and she is just delightful. her parents are awesome and are your "go with the flow" kinda people. it's obvious...lilly is the happiest, most relaxed baby, seriously. she melts my heart. and i think the baby levi's, oh they are just too cute for words!

i remember when...

he came home from his first day of kindergarten and said, "i'm ready to quit school, i don't like it." haha and here he is, a senior and i couldn't be more proud of the amazing guy he has become. his resilience is enviable and spirit will amaze you. congrats to the BEST brother i could ever have! oxo

...rewind

to about a month ((or two)) ago. these cuties came back to visit for christmas portraits. as always, we had a ball. savanna was sooo excited to wear the dress her momma asked me to make for her. super easy, super cute, just like these pictures!

...so thankful

that carol gave me the opportunity to develop my passion. she hired me to work at the portrait studio when i was 16, and admitted that i was her youngest hire. now, ten years later, i hope i have made her proud! we had an awesome time with her daughter (and yes they look like sisters) and their two furbabies. carol has taught me so much beyond the walls of the studio. i love you ladies!

it seems like just yesterday, i met miss lilly for the first time. she was 3 months old and just the most content baby i have ever seen. (really, she puts herself to sleep, no kidding!) and now, 3 months later, she still has got to be one of the easiest babies ever. she's your go with the flow type of gal.she is so expressive for her 'lil age. i'm also happy that she shared some smiles with me, i was almost standing on my head, (not really, but i'm sure all of the people passing by got a good chuckle. check out the last one, i think i may have embarrassed her!) here's a few from her session. i just love this lil gal! and she had the cutest hat that said, "i hunt for hugs". ahhh so adorable!

                                                                                             

falling in love....

with these amazing colors and senior sessions! and feeling loved by booking my latest sessions through word of mouth referrals. that's pretty sweet. speaking of sweet, shirley is another of my senior sessions, and she is just delightful! aside from that fact that she is just darling, her name is shirley...and have a soft spot for "vintage" names! we spent a blustery day on the beach and in a historic part of town. she was such a trooper, and didn't mind getting her feet wet, or sandy. thanks ladies for a fun day! enjoy!
